The greatest family history discovery I’ve ever made
Meet my great grandmother Edith, pictured here in San Diego.
I think she is pregnant with my grandmother and her twin, and if so, this photo was taken around 1913.
Luckily, Edith had an older child from a first marriage and photos of her were passed down to his descendants, which is how I got this amazing photo from a complete stranger off the internet!
Edith died when my grandmother was very young, so not much was passed down in my family – neither stories nor photos. So the discovery of this album was one of the greatest treasures I’ve ever found. ~shared by @duvenay
