What Questions are you asking your grandparents now that will help you remember them later?

What do you remember about your grandparents? What are you asking them now (and writing down!) to remember them when they’re gone?
.
I remember how funny they could be. My grandfather had a joke for everyone he met. He called the grandkids “little monsters,” in the most endearing way. He loved popcorn, peanuts and watching cartoons. He married my grandmother when she was only 16.
.
My grandmother would always greet you with, “hey babe,” and more often than not she would dance a little jig as she approached to give you a kiss and a hug. We never lived far away from them when I was a child, so they were a big part of my life for over 40 years.
.
I miss my grandfather’s jokes and my grandmother’s laugh. Even though they are gone now, they are always with me. Jim Pate II, 1917-2007, Eula (Denton) Pate, 1922-2014.
