This is a photo of my paternal grandparents, Anne and Al, on their wedding day September 9, 1943 in Topeka Kansas.

He was a Navigator in the U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII and called Annie to meet him in Kansas when he had a few days leave so they could be married.
These two people shaped who I am more than any other people on the planet. So much so that I named my oldest child after both of them. It will be 10 years this January since my Grandpa died and not a day goes by that I don’t think of them both.
As a professional photographer, I constantly stress the importance of printed photos to ALL of my clients and this photo is a perfect example. I look at it every single day and know who I am and where I came from. ~shared by @spicyredhead
