A Man’s Best Friend Honored in a classic old family photo
One of my all-time favorite family photos is of a furry family member.
Here’s Mike, my Papaw’s excellent bird dog, doing what he loved most: quail hunting with Papaw.
These two were so important to me growing up. Mike was such a sweet, protective dog and a best friend to us.
They were so close, Papaw never had another dog after Mike. ~shared by @veraviola_vintage
