Snapshots of Sisterhood from the World's Fair

My mom and her sister are inseparable. I’ve learned so much and leaned on them both throughout my life.

Aunt Sharon is like a second mom to me, and she’s amazing. I love spending time with them both and watching them still be each other’s best friends.

This is probably one of my favorite photos ever taken of my mom and my aunt Sharon. It was taken by my grandmother in 1964 when they visited NYC to see the World’s Fair.

As I’ve gotten older, my dad has taught me to cherish these types of moments and preserve them. He’s fighting cancer, so I’m even more focused on saving our family memories, one at a time. ~shared by @andrewhwaters
