Service and Sacrifice Shared through a veteran’s vintage photos
Old family photos tell tales of service and sacrifice. On Veteran’s Day, we honor loved ones who served their family and their country.
My wife’s grandfather served in the Vietnam war during the 1960s. He was in the Navy fighting overseas while his wife was here in the states raising their first child.
His name is James Johnson, but everyone in our family calls him “Pa.” These are Pa’s photos. And the camera, an Argus C3, is the same camera Pa used to take these photographs.
He passed the camera down to me, and one day I’ll pass it down to my boys. ~shared and arranged by @rickster85
