Happy Memories of Family Fun at a Swimming Hole in Missouri
My grandmother (age 18) and great uncle (age 4) in summer of 1954.
They were enjoying the water at their favorite swimming hole in the “little black river” within the countryside of Ripley County Missouri. Today a bridge passes over this part of the river.
I love looking through my family photo albums. I am so very grateful to have these photographs, some dating back nearly 100 years. ~shared by @cockroachmotel
